VISIT THE FAMOUS LONDON BRIDGE

The London Bridge crosses a narrow boating channel that connects with Thompson Bay on the Arizona side of Lake Havasu less than a mile from the Nautical Beachfront Resort. Built in 1831, the original bridge couldn’t handle the ever-increasing flow of traffic across the Thames River in London England. The British government decided to put the bridge up for sale, and Robert McCulloch, founder of Lake Havasu City, AZ, and Chairman of McCulloch Oil Corporation, submitted the winning bid of $2,460,000.

London Bridge was dismantled, and each stone was numbered and shipped 10,000 miles to Long Beach, CA, and then trucked to Lake Havasu City. Reconstruction began on September 23, 1968, with a ceremony including the Lord Mayor of London, who laid the cornerstone. Today, the London Bridge is one of America’s most unique tourist attractions. REGATTAS

The Nautical Beachfront Resort is a premier location for marine-related activities. We welcome a wide variety of marine activities from manufacturer regattas, product evaluations, and sanctioned races. We feature numerous boat-friendly amenities to ensure that your regatta is thoroughly enjoyed by all participants. From poker-runs to boat parades through the Bridgewater Channel (which continue under the London Bridge), we will bring your event to a memorable close with an awards dinner or banquet in our beautiful private cove or at the spacious Nautical Convention Center.

FISHING TOURNAMENTS

Discover world class fishing at the Nautical Beachfront Resort. Anglers are finding the best way to experience the renowned fishing opportunities of Lake Havasu, right from the shores of the Nautical Beachfront Resort. A group of community volunteers have worked hard to establish Lake Havasu as one of the west’s best places for fishing. The lake’s 450 miles of shoreline is fringed with secluded coves, providing ideal fishing conditions and a home to not only black and striped bass, but also blue gill, black crappie, green sunfish, channel flathead catfish, and carp.
